Prize Eligibility:
Prizes are typically awarded at each user group meeting.  These prizes fall into two categories: Vendor Prizes and Badgerland User Group Prizes.

Vendor Prizes:
The vendors are responsible for their own contests which are generally just a business card into a fish bowl for contacts.  The Badgerland User Group will provide a brief forum during the course of the meeting to announce vendor prize drawings and results of vendor prize drawings.  The Badgerland User Group is NOT responsible for the rules for winning vendor prizes, and will not offer to hold or deliver these prizes to the winner.  Typically, attendees must visit a vendor's booth to be eligible for a vendor's prize drawing.  The Badgerland User Group does not share membership information with vendors.

Badgerland User Group Prizes:
The user group has the following list of rules for prizes, which may change with each meeting:
1)    Prize drawings are open to MEMBERS ONLY
        a) Members must be in good standing at the time of the meeting (dues are paid)
2)    The following meeting participants are NOT eligible:
        a) Board Members of the User Group (so as not to appear as biased in some way)
        b) Unpaid members
        c) Vendors and all employees of the vendor
        d) Badgerland User Group Members of companies that have a vendor table at that meeting.
        e) Individuals who have paid ONLY for the meeting.
3)    Members MUST BE PRESENT to win.  You cannot claim a prize for an individual.
4)    Members are responsible for any taxes as a result of winning a prize.  If you win a prize over $1,000, you will be sent a 1099 form.  If you are not willing to accept these conditions, an alternate winner will be drawn.
5)    Users are only allowed to submit ONE entry per drawing.  Members who have won a prize and have submitted more than the maximum allowed entries will face penalties up to and including the forfeiture of the prize.
6)    The Badgerland User Group may choose to provide members with prize tickets.  These will be the official entry forms and will be based on paid membership status.
7)    The board, at its discretion will determine whether winners of smaller prizes are allowed to reenter the prize drawing for major prizes.
8)    In the event of a conflict, the judgment of the Board of the Badgerland User Group is final at the conclusion of each meeting.
9)   Winners may have there names and photos appear in user group communications.
